Due to increasing customer demand, we wish to strengthen our team at our newly opened branch in Koper with a customs declarant. You will be responsible for preparing customs declarations and accompanying documentation for all types of customs procedures (currently, container procedures are the most common). You will communicate daily with customs authorities and with clients, to whom you will also provide advice on customs clearance matters. Where necessary, you will also participate in customs inspections.

As an administrative assistant, you'll have a diverse range of tasks at CJZ – checking and delivering documents to customs offices and clients, attending customs inspections, processing internal and external reports, and assisting at reception. If you've never heard of customs matters, that's okay – we'll happily teach you everything from scratch!

You will be responsible for preparing customs declarations and related documentation for all types of customs procedures. In your day-to-day activities, you will communicate with both customs authorities and clients, for whom you will also act as a customs clearance consultant. When necessary, you will also participate in customs inspections.

At CJZ, you will be working intensely, primarily on a PC, as all communication with carriers, suppliers, and authorities is conducted electronically. Therefore, with us, you can learn to issue customs documents and become an expert in customs clearance, even if you've never heard of customs matters before – we'll gladly teach you everything from the basics!

At Zelinka Customs Agency, your role will encompass operating customs systems, processing export, import, and transit (T1) clearances, engaging in efficient email correspondence with carriers, suppliers, and authorities, maintaining organised customs documentation through compilation and verification, and providing continuous support to the team in managing customs declarations and information flow. We are seeking both experienced individuals registered as customs agents, as well as those embarking on their careers in customs law who are already registered as customs agents.
