Administrative Officer / Customs Declaration Officer

At Zelinka Customs Agency, our main concern is that the services we provide are of high quality, but also that our employees are happy in their jobs.
Our company, which has been on the Czech market for more than 25 years, processes customs documentation at 7 Czech and 18 foreign branches, ranging from Bucharest in Romania and Szczecin in Poland to Manchester in the UK, so we are long past being a small company. Our customers include companies that export or import goods from/to the EU, and we help them with communication with the customs administration and provide other services related to foreign trade.

Start date is by arrangement.

What awaits you here?
In CJZ you will work intensively mainly on the PC, as all communication with carriers, suppliers and authorities takes place electronically. We are also looking for someone who is not afraid to travel by car to customs offices (in Bratislava) and communicate with officials. Therefore, with us you can learn to issue customs documents and become an expert in customs procedures, even if you have never heard of customs issues – We gladly welcome experienced colleagues, but if you have no experience, we're happy to teach you everything from scratch!

How do we imagine you?
a few Secondary education with a school-leaving examination.
You can use a computer. And you are familiar with MS Excel concepts such as functions, filters, and pivot tables.
You'll certainly meet communication in English here too, so it's necessary don't be afraid to use AI at least in written form.
You must not miss it category B driving licence for trips to the customs office.
Are you missing qualities such as Communication, punctuality, flexibility and precision – and it is really needed here.
You enjoy working alone, but you don't have a problem working in a team.

What would your team be?
Team leader Mário has over 10 years of experience in customs issues, so he is truly the right person for the job. In the team, you will be welcomed by 10 colleagues with whom you will daily collaborate and communicate; although each works on their own cases, everyone is very willing to advise and help each other.

Incentive pay from €1300 (depending on experience) + bonuses.
