Customs declarant

Our clients are companies that export or import goods into or out of the EU. We help them with communication with customs authorities and also provide other services related to international trade.

What awaits you with us?
Due to increasing customer demand, we wish to strengthen our team at our newly opened branch in Koper with a customs declarant. You will be responsible for preparing customs declarations and accompanying documentation for all types of customs procedures (currently, container procedures are the most common). You will communicate daily with customs authorities and with clients, to whom you will also provide advice on customs clearance matters. Where necessary, you will also participate in customs inspections.

What do we expect from you?
Practical experience with import customs procedures, VAT-related customs procedures, and procedure 42 represent a significant advantage.
You have At least secondary education with a final exam in at least 3 years of experience in customs brokerage.
You have no problems working with a computer and MS Excel is known to you.
When working, you will also encounter communication in English, so Knowledge of the English language, at least in its written form, is an advantage..
You have a valid Driving licence category B for occasional trips to the customs office.
You are characterised by Good communication skills, punctuality, adaptability, and accuracy – precision is truly crucial in our work.
